What happens to your data
Last30 sends you one email a week about the topics you follow. To do that it needs your email address and your topics — and not much else. This page says exactly what is stored, where, and by whom.
What we store
- Your email address, the moment you sign up, and the time you confirmed it.
- The topics you follow and the language you chose for the letter (English or German).
- Each letter we sent you: when, the subject line, and a copy of the letter so the web version keeps working.
- A personal link token in every letter, so that “unsubscribe” and “follow topic” work with one click and without a login.
We do not store your IP address, your device, or which links you open. The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Double opt-in
After you sign up we send one confirmation email. Nothing else is sent until you click the link in it. If you never click, the address stays unused and you can ask us to delete it.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts this website, the service and its database (Workers, D1, R2, Pages).
- Resend, Inc. — delivers the emails. Resend receives your address and the letter.
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) — runs the research engine that reads public sources. It never sees your email address; it only sees topic names.
- OpenAI — writes the summaries and classifies topics. It receives public source texts and topic names, never your address or anything you typed except the topic.
The letter itself is built only from public posts, articles, papers and videos. Nothing about you is sent to any of the platforms we read.
How long
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your account. Every letter carries a one-click unsubscribe; deletion is one email to the address in the imprint, answered within a few days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, receive a copy, or object to processing. Write to the address in the imprint. You can also complain to a data-protection authority; for us that is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen.
Legal basis
Sending the letter you asked for: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract). Keeping the confirmation record: Art. 6 (1) (c) and (f) GDPR. Everything else needs your consent, which we do not ask for because we do not need it.
